The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, joined by hundreds of tribal nations and indigenous organizations, are fighting to stop the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline. If completed, the pipeline will carry fracked crude oil from nearly 1,200 miles through North and South Dakota, Iowa, and Illinois before connecting to existing pipelines to Texas and Louisiana.
We are in solidarity and side with Standing Rock in their ability to govern themselves and maintain constituency for efficient effective practices to prevent further mistakes or mishaps for any decrees, and commitments.
